Belgian payment reality is simple: you deposit with Bancontact or Bancontact Pay, with a bank transfer as the only way out. Since March 2026 the Payconiq by Bancontact app is officially called Bancontact Pay.
The Bancontact Pay ceilings are €1500 per transaction and €2500 per day. Available directly, no waiting; budget one to three working days on the bank side for the payout, with the operator's own turnaround on top.
Signup, KYC and support
Opening an account follows a fixed pattern: your real details plus a KYC check before any money leaves. Expect an ID document plus proof of address. Make sure account holder and player are the same person.
Dutch or French is not guaranteed, and complaining to the Commission is not an option. Leave the transaction mails in your inbox; without those documents a complaint leaves you empty-handed.

Limits, age and EPIS
On player protection, Belgium sits more strictly than most of its neighbours and it is built that way on purpose. On any licensed site the weekly limit defaults to €200.
The Gaming Commission keeps one central exclusion register in EPIS: a single request is enough to stay out everywhere at once. The request goes through the regulator itself. Under-21s have been shut out of casino, hall and betting since September 2024; 18 still applies at the National Lottery alone. It applies online and on-site.

Check which games count: slots often 100%, table games sometimes 10% or nothing at all. Without converting to euros a percentage says nothing. Declining a bonus is always allowed.
